“The tour was beyond our expectations. The views of Funchal at night are simply breathtaking! The traditional Portuguese dinner and show were both wonderful. We enjoyed them very much. We even made a friendship with a couple from Lisbon over dinner and now are keeping in contact with them.”

“Your we booked was for a dinner show with transportation to and from the show. Company never showed up and did not answer the phone when we tried to call. The reservation did not have the name of the restaurant so we could not just get a taxi. Our hotel found a restaurant that did a similar type experience, made a reservation and arranged a taxi. In the end it was ok but if they were not going to honor the tour, they should have cancelled. No I await my refund.”

“ShutUpAndEatMadeira takes tours to another level. We where on the second Espetada tour they did and it was a great experience. Knowing them i guess it will only get better. We enjoyed the company of Fabio (guide) and Jaki from ShutUpAndEatMadeira. Going to the outskirts of Funchal, drinking the best ponchas and having great bites (dentinhos) in local bars, was wonderfull. De tour takes you to some must see spots in and around Funchal. Doing this during sunset is a plus. The Espetada restaurant was a real local place no tourists except us. Food was great. Go and enjoy an evening with great company at local bars and restaurants, away…”
