“After a mixup the boys picked us up near the port. Then off on a fabulous tour up the mountain in 4x4 range rovers. Magnificent views and sights all over. Few stops to try local delicacies like Poncha (lol) maderia wine (had to buy a bottle for medicinal purposes lol) sky walk or in my case sky run. The tour guides were brilliant. Highly recommend a fabulous half day out over this beautiful island.”

“Sehr schöne Tour, netter junger Guide, der einem mit viel Herzblut seine direkte Heimat näher gebracht hat. Teilweise abseits jeglicher Touristen Route, dafür wurde man mit einem spektakulären Ausblick auf das Tal der Nonnen, einen Hang voller Amaryllis und einem Poncha in einer Dorfkneipe belohnt. Zum Schluss noch die sehenswerten Klippen von Cabo Girao. Tolle Tour, sehr zu empfehlen.”

“ShutUpAndEatMadeira takes tours to another level. We where on the second Espetada tour they did and it was a great experience. Knowing them i guess it will only get better. We enjoyed the company of Fabio (guide) and Jaki from ShutUpAndEatMadeira. Going to the outskirts of Funchal, drinking the best ponchas and having great bites (dentinhos) in local bars, was wonderfull. De tour takes you to some must see spots in and around Funchal. Doing this during sunset is a plus. The Espetada restaurant was a real local place no tourists except us. Food was great. Go and enjoy an evening with great company at local bars and restaurants, away…”
